May 29 - May 31 Memorial Day Weekend - Potluck bring a dish to pass. Donations are welcome.
June 5 Plantation Day - To fill Aurora Gardens with seasonal fruits, vegetables and flowers.
July 3 - Ribfest - Potluck - Bring a dish to pass. Donations $10.00 per adult and $5.00 per child under 12. By Members.

Come Join the fun. July 10 - AANR - World Record Skinny-Dip Guinness World Record (TM) Challenge Sponsored by: The American Association for Nude Recreation Saturday 2:00 p.m. Central Time Discount entrance fee $30 includes overnight tent camping in the open field area. For Skinny Dip day only.
A Lunch and snacks provided by members - tickets will be included in entrance fee.
We are proud! A Big Thank You to all our members who helped get Aurora Gardens ready for the Skinny Dip Contest. Thank you for helping with the press releases. Thank you for the lunch provided and served by the members. We had a good turn out.

September 4 - 7 Labor Day Weekend.
September 4 Because of the B/P Oil Spill in the Gulf, we will not have the Seafood Buffet. The cost and availability is too uncertain.
Instead we will have a Grill your own Steak. The Steak will be provided. - Fund raiser Potluck bring a salad or desert - Donations $10.00 per adult and $5.00 per child under 12 years old.
Sept 18 Squirrel Away Weekend - Putting the Campground to bed for the winter. Helpers are welcome. NO ADMISSION FEE for helpers. This is a clothing optional for all. A great time to meet our members.
Sept 18 Chili Cook Off - About 3 p.m. bring your favorite chili dish - to be judged by members and visitors. Sparky. Scenic Fall Colors.

Attention: After October 1, 2009 Aurora Gardens will be open to camping and lodging by reservation only.
Lodge - Motel rooms are available by reservation for 3 or more rooms for 2 or more days. Advance reservation and deposit required. Call 715-9648777.
